Michael Connelly’s latest book is called The Brass Verdict. Fans of his novels know that he often sprinkles music references throughout his work. Now for the first time, the author has compiled a complete list of those music references on his webpage.

New chapters will appear daily until February and there is an audio version as well. Nice to see one of the UK’s newest literary stars, revive and update a marketing technique from the days of Dickens and Melville.

President Harry Truman’s  daughter and acclaimed mystery author Margaret Truman has died at the age of 83. Her popular “Capital Crimes” series spanned over 20 titles and are perennial favorites here at the library.

Just finished this one, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Sure to generate a lively debate, from a variety of viewpoints, both political and otherwise. Reviews here , here and here. Basically we keep track of what we and our patron’s are reading so that we can recommend those books to others who may be looking for their next favorite read!
