Summer Hours Begin Tomorrow

Beginning July 1st and continuing until after Labor Day Weekend, the library will adjust its hours slightly. Saturdays we will be open from 9am-1pm, instead of 3pm and we will be closed on Sundays. Otherwise the weekday hours will remain the same.

Also please keep in mind that the library will be closed July 3 & 4th for the Independence Day holiday. We will be open Monday July 5th for regular hours.

Dive in to our Summer Reading Program!

Beginning Monday June 28th after 3pm, the library will once again welcome young readers to our Summer Reading Program. Sign-ups will take place either in the library or via the new online page. Check the Calendar page of the website for info on upcoming programs and activities. Paper copies of the calendar are available at the library. For additional info please call the library to speak to Liz or Marsha.

Library Closed for Memorial Day

The library will be closed this coming Monday May 31st in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. No materials will be due that day as a result. We will reopen for business on Tuesday June 1st at 9am.  All of us are eternally grateful to all who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.

Us! That’s right folks, the library’s entry in Dutton Books Get Caught Reading Twitter contest was chosen at random as the winner! We will receive a Flip videocam and a signed copy of Harlan Coben’s latest thriller, Caught.  As they say on This Week in Baseball, “How about that”!

Library Closed for Easter Holiday

The library will be closed this Sunday April 4th in observance of Easter. Otherwise normal hours will be in force for the weekend, meaning we will be open Friday until 5pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm.

It’s Happening Tonite!

That’s right our Classic Movie Series resumes with the first of three movies in March. Don’t forget that all movie-goers are eligible to enter our drawing for a deluxe DVD set of “Gone with the Wind”. Showtime is 6pm and admission is free.

Back in Business

While today’s forecast calls for continued messiness, the power is back on and the library will be open at our usual time of 9am.

Library Closed Today

Due to the continuing storm and poor road conditions the library will NOT open for business today. No materials will be due and no fines will be charged. We hope to be open for regular business hours tomorrow, Thursday Feb. 25th. Please check this page for the latest information regarding any changes to our hours of operation for the remainder of the week.

K9 Program Postponed

Due to the accumulating snow and potential for poor driving conditions, the K9 program scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed to a later date.

President’s Day Closing

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

The library will be closed this coming Monday, February 15th in observance of the President’s Day holiday. No materials will be due or fines charged as a result. We will reopen on Tuesday February 16th for regular business hours. Don’t forget to check the calendar for a schedule of kid’s activities taking place during school vacation week.
