Apparently we are not the only ones who are getting caught up in the Gatsby frenzy, that is building ahead of the release of the latest film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s literary classic. Thanks to our friends at the great Early Word blog, we learned that even faux conservative talk show hosts are creating book clubs! We have some extra copies on order, so stop in and read the book, before the movie comes out this coming weekend.

And there are many in our profession who are also huge comics fans. So getting the word out about this upcoming event seems like a no-brainer! Our comic and graphic novel collection is available for free everyday with a valid library card. But on Saturday May 4, we encourage comic fans to visit their local comic book ships and pick up their free comic book, and maybe buy a few others as well! Lots of information, including locations of area stores can be found here.
