Library Display Celebrates Barbie’s 50th
For the month of August the library will have on display a collection of vintage Barbie dolls and accessories in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the “birth” of Barbie. The collection is on loan from former library trustee Christine Connell. The display is available for viewing during regular library hours.
About Library Director
We are a public library located in the village of Waterford, NY. The library is housed in a historic 1895 D&H Railroad Freight Depot. Waterford is the oldest incorporated Village in the United States and is situated where the Mohawk River Barge and Champlain River Canals meet the Hudson River.

Hi,
I’m a visitor and fan of your page. I came across it a few weeks earlier while performing an Internet search for sites on Barbie collecting.
I’m a teacher but in my spare time my daughter and I enjoy collecting dolls especially Barbies. The “anniversary” resource you had listed is my favorite as well as my daughter’s. Before the school year ended she took some of her Barbies in for show and tell, haha quite a hit!
