It’s a Nook(Color)!
The library has stuck its toe into the onrushing waters of electronic books and eReaders, with the purchase of a Nook Color. The Nook was purchased with unrestricted library gift monies. The decision to purchase the Nook was based on both numerous positive reviews and the fact that it is compatible with the Overdrive service of downloadable audio and electronic books, offered by the library. We invite patrons to come in and learn how about the Nook and the Overdrive service. We will NOT be loaning out the Nook at this time, however, patrons are encouraged to use it in the library.
About Library Director
We are a public library located in the village of Waterford, NY. The library is housed in a historic 1895 D&H Railroad Freight Depot. Waterford is the oldest incorporated Village in the United States and is situated where the Mohawk River Barge and Champlain River Canals meet the Hudson River.
